Kirtan is the story of a father-in-law & daughter-in-law who disagree at the point of leaving their ancestral home & shifting to a new flat. Manimala, the daughter-in-law, wants to leave their old house & move to a new modern house to raise her son. But her father-in-law, Avinash, doesn’t want to leave his ancestral home. This creates a daily household turmoil which puts Arup, Manimala’s husband, in real challenging situation. What will be the outcome of the tussle between the old & the new generation? Veteran actor Paran Bandyopadhyay will keep you glued to the screen with his unique portrayal of Abinash, the father-in-law. New age actors Arunima Ghosh plays the role of Manimala, the daughter-in-law, while popular Star Jalsha face Gourab Chatterjee pays the role of Arup.
