Big FM ties up with BBC for content

The Big FM shook hands with BBC world service for providing the entertainment updates or content. This content will be then used by Big FM for entertaining and updating the 32 of its FM radio stations.

Big FM is operated by the Reliance Media World.

Few programmes of BBC which would be aired on Big Fm platform are: Big BBC Minute ' this will be an hour show.

Next is Big BBC Mulaqat ' it will be a celebrity talk show that would come on weekends. And, a weekly entertainment movie preview sow will also be aired.

The BBC World Services head of business development, Asia Pacific, Neil Curry said, "This takes our position in the market to a new level as BBC World Service programming will be accessible in several Indian states and cities for the first time ever."

And, the Reliance Media World CEO Tarun Katial said, "This alliance further strengthens our programming concoction offering to listeners. The entertainment capsules from The BBC World Services are credible, engaging and highly entertaining offerings that we as a brand ensure in our delivery to listeners."

Reliance Media World also revealed the cities where the entertainment updates from BBC will be available to the audiences. These cities are - Agra, Aligarh, Allahabad, Amritsar, Asansol, Baroda Bhopal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Indore, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Jhansi, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kota, Mumbai, Patiala, Rajkot, Ranchi, Shimla, Sholapur, Srinagar and Surat.
