Bloomberg UTV roped in Manoj Padmanabhan as VP (Sales)
In face last year in September 2009, UTVi ' the business news channel from the UTV stable, had tied up with Bloomberg, and gave this association a name Bloomberg UTV.
Manoj Padmanabhan's main task will be to monetize Bloomberg UTV's revenue system.
As per the media sources, Padmanabhan on his joining here, he said, "I chose to move to Bloomberg UTV as it has a young talented team and is a combination of two big names in the industry. The channel has a lot of promise. The intention is to provide a very good alternative to the current market leader."
Padmanabhan's has been associated with some very good organisations prior joining here. He was with Ten Sports for 5 years and was promoted as Director (Ad Sales) in April 2009. Prior to Ten Sports, he was with Zoom for a year, where he was part of the launch team. Before that, he was with The Times of India (TOI) for 2 years.
