Cleartrip appoints Wakefit’s Chetan Sharma as head of marketing

Chetan Sharma, who led home accessories and furniture firm Wakefit as vice president - online revenue and demand, has joined travel and booking comapnay Cleartrip as head of digital marketing. Sharma, who started his career at Quasar has worked across Fareportal, Times Internet, FreeCharge, TaxiForSure, LendingKart, Adda52 Rummy and Simpl. His skill set ranges from performance marketing, display marketing, marketplace strategy, and analytics. On the occasion, Sharma took to Linkedin to say “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Digital Marketing at Cleartrip!”.
