CNN-News18 adds extra dose of entertainment with its award-winning shows
As the year draws to a close, CNN-News18 has lined-up special episodes of its award-winning programming ‘The Bollywood Roundtable’ and ‘The Year That Wasn’t’. Summarizing 2021 in their entertaining, humorous and uniquely quirky formats, the shows will take the viewers on a special journey with some of the most notable names in the industry.
Led by renowned anchors, the shows will further strengthen the channel’s weekend programming with innovative formats and concepts. The line-up will be:
The Bollywood Roundtable
One of the most popular year-end series on Indian television, The Bollywood Roundtable will be hosted by senior entertainment anchors Atika Farooqi & Shilpa Rathnam. The show will bring candid conversations with renowned actors, directors and music artists on how 2021 has been for Bollywood. The show will feature guests such as Arjun Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Kay Kay Menon to name a few.
The Year That Wasn’t
A satirical show, hosted by the evergreen Cyrus Broacha, will effectively encapsulate the year 2021. With a humorous take on how people are celebrating the festive season, the show will also spotlight relevant issues such as the pandemic, farm laws, elections and other political and social developments.
