Colosceum Media collaborates with Siddharth Anand Kumar as creative head - fiction

Colosceum Media Private Limited, India’s leading television production company, announced today that it has strengthened its capabilities in the scripted (fiction) show formats by collaborating with Siddharth Anand Kumar as Creative Head - Fiction. This strategic partnership enhances Colosceum Media’s position as a robust entertainment company supplemented with quality talent and deep experience across all genres of television production.

Siddharth is currently directing the widely appreciated Shastri Sisters on Colors. His past accolades include directing the initial episodes of the successful series Mahabharat on Star Plus. Siddharth studied filmmaking at Hampshire College in the USA and has written and directed the feature film Let's Enjoy (2004). He has worked as an Associate Director on Kamasutra (directed by Mira Nair) and as a DOP and Editor on Rajdhani (Star Plus). Siddharth has also been curator of India's first digital film festival, The Digital Talkies Festival.

At Colosceum, he will work closely with the Co-Founder and CEO, Lalit Sharma, who will lead the fiction genre initiatives for the group. Siddharth brings passion for creative ideas, talent development and incomparable experience in the fiction space. In his role, he will be responsible for all creative operations, including, scripting, on-screen talent, and editorial.

Over the past seven years, Colosceum has produced some of the highest rated, award winning fiction shows like Jai Shree Krishna (Colors), Jamunia (NDTV Imagine), Meera (NDTV Imagine), Bandhan (Colors), Shakuntala (Star One), and Bani Ishq Da Kalma (Colors).
The deal was negotiated by content and talent management company, Tulsea Pictures, which represents both Siddharth Anand Kumar and Colosceum.
