Condé Nast Traveller to launch its Indian edition

The most respected source on luxury travel, Condé Nast Traveller will launch its Indian edition in October 2010. The magazine will be the 6th edition of the world's most discerning travel publication. Alex Kuruvilla, Managing Director of Condé Nast India, announced the appointment of Editor, Divia Thani Daswani and Publisher, Sunaina Talwar Khiani.

Divia Thani Daswani, Features Editor Vogue India has written extensively on art, culture, lifestyle and travel. Since the launch of Vogue India, the features section has gained a loyal following from discerning readers of the brand. She is an avid international traveller and has interviewed several personalities including film stars, celebrities, artists and authors. Divia brings extensive publishing and editing experience to lead Traveller India's talented team. Divia graduated summa cum laude with a degree in English from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received the Robert C Laing Award for Creative Writing as well as a Brackenridge Fellowship from the University Honors College.

Sunaina Talwar Khiani brings her expertise of working with international brands to Condé Nast Traveller India. She has worked with Louis Vuitton and Salvatore Ferragamo, overseeing the marketing and communications portfolio for these luxury maisons. Sunaina also spent time in the hospitality industry with the InterContinental Hotels Group. An MBA from INSEAD, she completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and specialized in finance, strategy and marketing.
