DD Bharati is set to depict every possible facet of Freedom struggle!

DD Bharati channel, touted as the cultural heritage of India, is a niche art and cultural television channel of Doordarshan. Since its modest beginning in 2002, the channel has made its way to the audiences’ heart as a one stop solution to whet their cinematic appetite.

Starting from the eve of 67^th Republic Day, DD Bharati is set to telecast range of programs, depicting every possible facet of Freedom struggle till the time India became a sovereign, secular, and democratic republic.

Noteworthy scheduled programs are as below:

1.     Lagenge Har Baras Mele - a biography on Shaheed Bhagat Singh

A half an hour biographical snapshot on the life of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his remarkable contribution in the freedom struggle, titled ‘Lagenge Har Baras Mele’ will be telecast on 25^th January’ 16 on DD Bharati at 6:00 pm.

2.     Freedom Struggle and Indian Poetry

A half an hour dedicated program under the slot Sahitya Bharati, titled ‘Freedom Struggle and Indian Poetry’ will be telecast on 25^th, 26^th and 27^th January’16 at 8:00 pm. The program would enlighten the viewers on the motivational spirit of Indian poets during Indian Freedom Struggle.

3.     Swaraj Ki Goonj

This special program, titled ‘Swaraj Ki Goonj’ depicts significant role cinema played during Freedom Struggle. The program will be aired on the channel on 25^th and 26^th January’16 at 10:30 pm.
