Delhi HC Adjourns Kantar case hearing till May 12

The fifth hearing of the Kantar case was held yesterday. The Delhi High Court adjourned the hearing of Kantar Market Research and the Government of India to May 12 this year.

The hearing that took place under Justice Rajiv Shakdher, has been going on for the last one year. The court has asked the IBF to file an affidavit in the next two weeks and has also asked them to file a rejoinder for the same.

Nisha Bhambhani is the advocate representing the News Broadccasters' Association, while Abhishek Malhotra is representing the Indian Broadccasting Federation.

In the previous hearing which was on September 8, 2014, the IBF had accepted a notice from Kantar and the court had asked Kantar to file a response within two weeks and submit the advance copy to IBF.

Later, Kantar counsel had requested the court to advance the hearing to February because of personal reasons.
