Dentsu partners with Hyperspace; puts up showroom for Anchor by Panasonic

With the objective of giving its consumers a ‘see, touch and feel’ experience of a diverse range of world-class home decorative lighting concepts and functions and its focus on providing the best of innovation and technology, India’s leading electrical solutions manufacturer - Anchor Electricals Pvt. Ltd (A Panasonic Group Company), opened its first state-of-the-art LED lighting showroom in Mumbai on the 2nd of December 2013 in association with Hyperspace India, a retail design studio.

The store was conceptualized and designed by the Panasonic Japan’s Central Advertising Team who directly monitored and supervised the project.

Speaking of the project, Haresh Nayak, Managing Director, Posterscope Group said, “The Anchor by Panasonic LED Lighting Experience Center is a path-breaking development, because its worlds 2nd and India’s 1st lighting experience center. We are greatly honoured to have associated with Panasonic on this project and looking towards long term association”.

Siddharth Anand Jha, Business Head, Hyperspace India, was candid in his acceptance of this project being a learning experience, esp. imbibing the Japanese way of working. “We ensured a thorough check in terms of quality, designs, store ambience and layout, without wavering on the timelines. An immense learning which has helped us better our experience of handling turnkey projects on 360degree retail implementation, to a great extent.”

Dentsu Japan, handling the Panasonic account was the lead agency and collaborated with Hyperspace India for the implementation of the store project.

 

Hyperspace, specialists in designs, research & implementation of PoS, Visual Merchandise, Shop-in-Shops, Multi-branded, Exclusive & Specialized Stores, undertook a detailed & analytical study on raw materials & elements and after in-depth R&D the materials were procured to meet the International standards, ensuring, flawless quality assurance, style and overall consumer appeal.

Hyperspace team completed the store in straight 48 days and the work schedules were drawn detailing the civil, electrical, carpentry, painting, signage, ACP, metal works and finishing time-lines and separate teams were engaged to work parallel to ensure adherence to the strict timelines.

Dentsu and Hyperspace adapted a collaborative approach with constant onsite inspection to ensure, there were absolutely no gaps in qualitative and timely deliveries. The client, Panasonic Japan, was kept updated regularly and were invited to visit the site in periodic intervals.

The inauguration was a grand affair in the presence of the occasion were, Makoto Kitano, Director of Lighting Business Division and Vice President of Eco Solutions Company, Manabu Takeda, Senior Councilor - Residential Lighting Business, Kiyoshi Otaki, Managing Director, Anchor Electricals Pvt.
