Director Teja Dharma announces a Nationwide starcast hunt

Lights, Camera, Action.. Stardom! Ace Director Teja Dharma, is all set to cast up to 50 actors, through Tollywood's first ever digital starcast auditions being held on Helo, India's leading regional social media platform. Starting today, 15th June 2020, all Helo users, will stand a chance to act in the upcoming Telugu film, AlimeluManga VenkataRamana. All aspirants across 15 languages, will be able to showcase their creative streak by participating in the month long live auditions under #Ticket2Tollywood & #HeloTejaAuditions. This film will be directed by Teja himself and will be produced by the People Media Factory along with Abhishek Agarwal Arts.

 Commenting on this association, Director, Teja Dharma said, "Good casting is half the battle won for a director.  As part of this megaproject, Director Teja has been engaging with users on the platform to announce the required character specifications & rules to follow for the first phase of auditions. He also shared a video from his Helo account, personally encouraging users to showcase their talent through pictures and videos. Helo users can participate by uploading four of their best pictures in western & traditional attire along with four audition videos in the formats - Self Introduction, Comedy, Serious & Emotional, through their personal Helo accounts, using the hashtags #Ticket2Tollywood & #HeloTejaAuditions. 

 Teja Dharma has been widely known for his works in Telugu cinema and Bollywood. He has been awarded multiple accolades for his contribution to the film industry, especially for his film Nuvvu Nenu, for which he won the Filmfare award for the Best Director. As a Cinematographer, he is known for some of his iconic Hindi films, Baazi, Ghulam, Sangharsh, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai, Krodh, to name a few. Teja’s last film was Sita (2019) was a romantic comedy, which starred Kajal Aggarwal along with Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Sonu Sood.
