Discovery Science launches its Hindi-language feeds

Discovery Science, India’s only 24-hour channel dedicated to making science programming relevant, accessible and entertaining, announced the launch of its Hindi-language feed. Discovery Science, a pay channel, will now be available round the clock in Hindi and English on both analogue and DTH platforms including Tata Sky, Dish TV, Videocon D2H and Airtel Digital TV. 
 
Discovery Science provides a thought-provoking and interesting insight into the impact of science and technology on our daily lives. The launch of the Hindi-language feed is fuelled by research and demand from Hindi-speaking markets who have appreciated Discovery Science’s differentiated content offering. Proving that ‘knowledge is cool’, the channel offers a range of entertaining programmes focused on cutting-edge scientific research and discoveries on the human body, astronomy, genetics, exploration, medical advances, food, space and more.

Coinciding with the Hindi-language feed launch, Discovery Science has announced five ground breaking series which will be aired over the next three months. Prophets of Science Fiction will present the stories of the strange lives of the visionaries and reveal the secrets of their uncanny ability to see the future; Dark Matters will expose some of history's most bizarre experiments; Alien Encounters will explore how alien life might communicate with Earth; How Tech Works features the latest and future technologies of the world and Combat Tech takes an in-depth look at the greatest military engineering accomplishments. Additionally, Discovery Science will feature a special line-up titled “SPACE WEEK” with programmes that focus on space, the universe and astrophysics from October 1 -7, every day at 8 pm.
