Disney and EMC's s'TRON'g Legacy!

Walt Disney was on a roll promoting its latest offering TRON: Legacy. The movie was being promoted through Disney channel and Zee Network's ETC, Zee Cafe, Zing, Zee Trendz and Zee Studio.

As part of their bid to promote the movie in India EMC Solutions has done a tie up between these channels and Walt Disney through a unique contest, wherein by creating a promo of the movie Tron: Legacy. Viewers have to identify how many identity discs have been showcased in the promo.

Talking to Adgully, Maneesh Mathur Joint Managing Director EMC Solutions Worldwide Pvt Ltd, says, "We are very happy with this tie up and the additional visibility that we are getting for the tron campaign.What is also exciting for the consumer is that they get a chance to win a futuristic Tron inspired bike. Tron fans across India will get an opportunity to win these futuristic machines through a nationwide contest. We wanted to promote the movie through more engaging and experiential marketing initiatives."

Speaking on the association, Seshasaye Kanthamraju, Director, Disney India, says, "Most of our movies are promoted through a platform that is truly engaging for the audiences. The Tron Legacy campaign is one such initiative, we wanted to provide our audiences a good experience. EMC Solutions have been our valued partners on many campaigns, the media association has been very fruitful."

The winner of the contest gets a TRON: Legacy bike ' the shiny, futuristic and neon rimmed black bike. The promo was being showcased on the channels from 10th December till 17th December, 2010.
