DMAi welcomes a change in the Leadership Team at DMA

DMAi, the singular forum for integrated direct marketing in India, welcomes the announcement from The Direct Marketing Association (DMA), of a change in the leadership team. Larry Kimmel has resigned as CEO to join the agency Hawkeye, but will continue as President Emeritus of the DMA and will serve in a senior advisory capacity. DMA Executive Vice President of Washington Operations, Linda Woolley, will become the organization’s acting President and CEO.
 
Commenting on this leadership change, Vatsal Asher, CEO, DMA: India says, “DMA has been instrumental in guiding and supporting us in our endeavor to put together an impactful global convention that is slated to take place in India this August. Larry’s overall dedication and energy motivates us all and I wish him all the best in all his future accomplishments. We are certain that Linda too would bring similar enthusiasm and zest for the industry and we look forward to a fruitful and long term association with DMA”
 
The announcement at the DMA comes just months away from the commencement of India’s first-of-its-kind global convention for direct marketing, to be hosted by DMAi at the Renaissance Convention Center Powai in Mumbai from 1st to 4th August. Poised to be a single platform for all multichannel marketing including traditional, interactive and futuristic channels; this global convention will give out the trends, latest news, best practices and industry insights from global participants.
