Draftfcb Ulka Delhi picks Sanjay Tandon as Chief Operating Officer

Sanjay will replace Sanjeev Bhargava who has decided to move on to take up a new assignment outside the agency. Sanjeev has spent over 18 years with the agency, with the last 7 years as the COO of Draftfcb Ulka Delhi. Arvind further commented, "We will all miss Sanjeev, both as a wonderful person and as a true advertising professional who has contributed immensely to the agency over the years. On behalf of the entire agency, I would like to wish him all the very best in his new assignment."

Sanjay Tandon, a true blood Ulkan, has spent over 10 years in the agency. A graduate from St Stephens College Delhi and an MBA from IMT Ghaziabad, he started his career and the first few years of his working life in Sales and Marketing, before joining FCB Ulka in 1997. He spent the next 7 years handling major accounts like LML, HP, Samsung, Mother Dairy and British Airways and rose to the position of Client Servicing Director. Post this, he took up assignments at Bates as VP and then at JWT where he led the business of Nokia, Yamaha and Pepsico Flavours and Juices respectively.

Sanjay returned home to Draftfcb Ulka in 2009 to very successfully lead the Tata Docomo business which is today one of the largest and high profile businesses of the agency.

Sanjay's width of experience and in-depth understanding of every business he has handled has earned him the respect of his colleagues and clients alike and this coupled with his easy going leadership style and a commitment to the Ulka values makes him an ideal candidate to lead the fastest growing office of Draftfcb Ulka.
