E-gaming federation hails HC verdict in GamesKraft case

E-Gaming Federation has welcomed the recent judgment of the High Court of Karnataka in the GamesKraft case, which provides clarity to the existing position of law.
Malay Shukla, Secretary, E-Gaming Federation, said that the court has upheld the law by allowing the petitions and quashing the show cause notice issued by the GST authorities. He added that this outcome is significant for the online gaming industry as it will have a direct and positive impact on its growth and operation. "EGF had actively intervened in the matter and supported the position of law, which has now been validated by the Hon’ble court as well. We look forward to a thriving and transparent gaming ecosystem in the country," he said.
