eBay India partners with Oxigen Services for Offline Assisted Ecommerce

India’s largest payment solution provider Oxigen Services today announced its partnership with eBay India, a leading online marketplace to offer access of its pan India network of over 200,000 retail touch points and expand its reach. This association will help Oxigen Services customers access over 100 million product listings on www.ebay.in. Under this association, Oxigen brings a unique O2O solution (Online to Offline) which integrates customer on boarding for eBay India with Mobile Wallet Payments solution.

In a differentiating experience, now a customer can walk into an Oxigen enabled outlet spread across Metro, Tier I, II and III cities besides over 25000 rural locations, view the variety of products listed on ebay.in through a PC or a smartphone and place an order. The big advantage is that a cash paying customer, who does not have a credit card or debit card, and wants to benefit from an online purchase, can now have access to entire range products of eBay India.

With the current market scenario, of demonetization, and with the trend of online marketplace suspending Cash on Delivery, or a customer not having the exact currency to pay for the goods at his doorstep, this will become another opportunity, to offer assisted online shopping to a customers.
