Editors Guild of India sets up committees on Ethics, Media Laws, Digital Media

The Editors Guild of India has fortified its operations by constituting new committees – Ethics Committee, Constitutional Review Committee, Media Watch Committee, Media Laws Committee, Digital Media Committee, Membership/ Credentials Committee, and Programs Committee.

Harish Khare has been appointed Convenor for the Ethics Committee, with Krishna Prasad as member.

The Constitutional Review Committee has KN Hari Kumar as the Convenor, with Prabhu Chawla and Om Thanvi as members.

Sonia Singh has been appointed Convenor for the Media Watch Committee, while Zaheeruddin Khan, Rajesh Badal and Krishna Prasad are the members.

Convenor for the Media Laws Committee is Raghav Behl, with Mukund Padmanabhan as member.

Shrenik Rao is the convenor for the Digital Media Committee, with Naresh Fernandes and Jayant Mathew as members.

The Membership/ Credentials Committee has Vijay Naik as the Convenor, while Ayaz Memon and Suresh Bafna are members.

Kumkum Chadha is the Convenor for the Programs Committee, which has Alok Joshi, Sanjiv Srivastava, Sankarshan Thakur and Sunita Aron as members.
