EFFIE 2012 calls for final entry forms

Ad Club initiative, EFFIE has announced the call of  entries for its 12th edition of the prestigious EFFIE 2012.  The final award ceremony is expected to take place on 4th December 2012 at the Royal Western India Turf Club, Mumbai.
 
The agencies which ran campaigns in India from 1st July 2011 to 30th June 2012 are eligible to participate for the awards. Now agencies have an advantage of registering digitally as well.
 
Two new award categories have been introduced this year. They are for Digital Marketing and Best On-going campaigns. Organisers will look for campaigns that demonstrate effectiveness in meeting objectives of prospect identification, customer acquisition, customer retention, customer loyalty and increasing customer life time value across various products or categories under the Digital Marketing category. In the Best On going campaign category those agencies which have connected with consumers in dynamic operating environments will be recognized.
 
The other award categories include Consumer Products; Consumer Durables; Services; Corporate Advertising; Digital Advertising (Online or Mobile Communication); Retail Advertising; Healthcare; B2B Advertising; Rural Advertising and Regional Advertising.
 
Under the special categories are listed the following : David v/s Goliath (for smaller, new or emerging brands), Integrated Advertising Campaign; Grand Effie; Effie Agency of the Year; Effie Client of the Year; and Lenovo Tech-Doers Award (technology sponsor).
 
Effies have planned to judge the entries in two phases. The first round will evaluate entries on a stand-alone basis without comparison to other entries in their category.  The Final Round will see finalists in each category being judged against other finalists in the same category.
 
It is a noteworthy to acknowledge that Ogilvy India has been judged the Agency of the Year successively for three years in a row. Taproot won the Grand Effie and Cadbury India was declared Client of the Year in the previous edition of the awards.
