Emraan Hashmi shocked to hear the real stories of Daayans

While shooting for his forthcoming film Ek Thi Daayan, Emraan Hashmi was shocked to hear that real Daayans (Witches) are still active and practicing witch craft even in a metropolitan city like Mumbai.  At first Emraan found it hard to believe but director Kannan Iyer told him that real Daayans (Wiccan’s) exist in the city. It was only when director Kannan introduced him to a crew member who had done research on the subject did Emraan believe the hearsay.

A member of the crew who has done research on this cult told Emraan that few women still practice Witch Craft.   He told Emraan to come with him to see how the women still practice the craft.   He told him that they use a few signs and symbols which the common man is not aware of.   He took Emraan and showed him the signs and symbols used in witchcraft on their doors and windows. Only when Emraan saw the signs that he believed that the cult still exists.
