Eurobest 2011: The final jury presidents announced!

The final jury presidents for Eurobest, Europe's premier creative advertising and communications awards taking place next month, are announced.

Daniel Bergmann, Managing Director and Executive Producer of Stink, UK, the London-based international production company, will chair the Craft Jury. Daniel has made it Stink's mission to find and nurture local and international talent and to work directly with the most creative people, regardless of territory, to produce fresh, exciting and original projects, TV commercials, music videos, short films and animation. With the additional strength of Stink Paris and Stink Berlin, the company represents an eclectic roster of directors around the world, and remains at the cutting edge of commercials production. Last year saw the birth of Stink Digital, which is currently developing and redefining Stink's role through multimedia and internet ' winning the Film Grand Prix both at Cannes and at Eurobest in 2009 for Philips "Carousel'.

Commenting on his appointment, Daniel Bergmann said, "The spotlight will be on Lisbon next month where I hope to see at this year's Eurobest awards, the freshest and most exciting use of craft that elevates the work and showcases the best that Europe has to offer. It is a challenge for Eurobest awards to lead the way and this is what I will aim for as a president of the craft jury."

Sergio Valente, CEO and President of DDB Brasil, will take the role of Integrated Jury President, in addition to his role as Film, Print, Outdoor and Radio Jury Chair. Over 25 years in the industry have seen him lead his agency to win the prestigious Agency of the Year award at Cannes Lions in 2009 as well as the Interactive Agency of the Year and a Cyber Grand Prix in 2005. Elected as a leader of the new generation of agency leaders in the domestic market by Meio & Mensagem, Sergio has held previous jury posts on both the Film and the Titanium and Integrated juries at Cannes Lions.

Commenting on his appointment, Sergio Valente remarked, "Being a Eurobest jury president is a great opportunity to get a privileged look at what the European market is doing best. It's a huge challenge, but the opportunity for exchange and learning is even better. The expectations are high."
