Farhad Wadia quits E18 to join Capricorn Group

Farhad Wadia, CEO of E18, the event management division of Network18, has quit the company. Wadia who headed E18 since 2007, is now Senior Vice President, Marketing & sales at the Capricorn Group. His new role, at the Group will see him run the overall business of the company in India, UAE and UK.

Wadia has spent 28 years in the domain of Media & Entertainment industry. He has experience in building and managing brands, developing unique marketing and branding strategies in ATL/ BTL/ Digital contexts and finally converting these attributes into strong revenue streams. Running and managing radio, TV, print media and brand solutions business in India and the UAE has also been his forte.

Earlier in his career he has been associated with companies which include HT Media, Channel 4 Networks, Power Productions and Radio Star India.

Wadia has also been involved in the Independence Rock Festival, which is organized annually in Mumbai on Independence Day since last 27 years.

The Capricorn Group, which deals in real estate since 1987 are known for their residential and hospitality projects along with land bank. Sources at the Group too have confirmed his move saying, “Wadia has confirmed his transition from media to the real estate industry."
