Films on OTT 42 days after release

OTT platforms will only start showing Malayalam films after 42 days of their theatrical release, according to Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce, the industry's apex trade association.
In addition to Kerala language films, the decision will also apply to other language films.
Additionally, the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce was instructed to provide the list of films currently under contract for OTT release and those ready for release by March 31, 2023.
Apparently, the trade group has also decided not to allow audiences to write movie reviews within the theatre.
