Former Amazon India Marketing Head Anirban Roy Joins Swiggy Instamart as VP

Anirban Roy, Amazon India’s former Marketing Head, joins Swiggy Instamart as Vice President
Anirban Roy, who had recently resigned as the Head of performance marketing at Amazon India, is assuming the role of Vice-President, Category, Revenue and Growth at Swiggy Instamart.
In his LinkedIn post he writes: “I am delighted to embark on this exciting chapter as I join the remarkable growth trajectory of one of India's most cherished brands, assuming the role of Vice President - Category, Revenue, and Growth at Swiggy Instamart!”
Roy had been working for almost 7.5 years in Amazon India. In an earlier post on LinkedIn post, last week, he mentioned: “After 7.5 wonderful years at Amazon, I am moving on to a new adventure. I have had the privilege to have a front row seat to the rapidly evolving e-commerce landscape and feel proud to have played a small yet integral part in Amazon’s India journey.”
Anirban Roy is taking over the role from Sidharth Satpathy, who joined Swiggy as an AVP in June 2019 before being promoted to VP in July 2021.
