Fruit of the Loom enters India; AoR Percept/H

Well, similar things happen in the world of business too. From a pool of agencies called on to give their respective presentations, international fashion brand Fruit of the Loom has decided upon Percept/H to be their agency-on-record (AoR).

Fruit of the Loom has a fashion-rich history of more than 150 years and is most famous for its inner clothing collection. Interestingly, it happens to be the world's largest maker of undergarments and women's and girl's "intimate clothing'. Ehm, nice. We welcome Fruit of the Loom with an embrace. Speaking business, the account is said to be between 5-10 crore and Percept/H has been given the entire creative and media directive to help the American giant establish a firm foothold in the ever-growing Indian apparel market.

Presently available in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Pune, the firm is soon going to be present in other cities too through its retail points. Shrikant Raghavan, VP, Sales & Marketing, Fruit of the Loom's India operations said, "In India, as we are relatively unknown, through our association with Percept/H, we hope to reach our consumers with clear and innovative communication strategies, as well as build our brand equity in the Indian market."

Percept is going to execute a 360-degree communication approach with heavy concentration on the on-ground activities to create awareness about the brand.
