FUJIFILM re-imagines X 100 success with X-Pro 1

FUJIFILM is all set to raise the curtain of a new era by introducing interchangeable lenses. The pioneer in the digital imaging field today unveiled FUJIFILM X-Pro 1, the first digital mirror-less interchangeable lens camera.

FUJIFILM India Pvt. Ltd., the wholly owned subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holding Corporation, Japan has also launched three newly designed fixed ‘X mount’ lens.

These fast, prime lenses, equivalent to a 27, 53, and 90 lens in a full sensor D-SLR camera, available as a addition feature along with X-Pro 1. These interchangeable lenses are having 18 millimetre f2, 35 millimetre f1.4 and 60 millimetre f2.4. The X-mount featured on the X-Pro 1 has a thin profile and quick shutter time lag.

FUJIFILM X-Pro 1 is FUJIFILM’S response to the unprecedented success of FinePix X100 and they re-imagined the digital camera, this time, with mirror-less interchangeable lenses.

The X-Pro 1 body includes a 16 megapixel APS-CMOS image sensor with FUJIFILM’s EXR processing technology. While X-Pro sensor gives a clearer image with the 6x6 colour array as compared to standard 2x2 array. It allows the users to instantly switch between an electronic and optical viewfinder thanks to X-Pro 1’s Hybrid multi-viewfinder.   

Any one who sees it for the first time will fall in love with its retro look with a sleek black design and 3-inch LCD screen.  X-Pro 1 is for those who want all the advantages of a small, rangefinder-like camera in a reasonable price. It will be a best option for a high-end second camera for professional photographers and serious amateurs.
