GD Foods celebrates 33 years of operations

The dream of Shri Goverdhan Dass Seth has successfully completed 33 years. G.D. Foods Mfg. (India) Pvt. Ltd. celebrates its Founder’s Day on 27th of October every year. It is a grand celebration which takes place at all Units and Plants at Jahangirpuri, Swaroop Nagar, Tronica City, Bawana, Matiala, including the Corporate Office at Janakpuri, New Delhi. It is a day dedicated in loving remembrance of Sh. Goverdhan Dass Seth and marks his death anniversary.

On this day this year i.e. Sunday 27th October 2013 the Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Mr. Brij Mohan Seth and Joint Managing Director, Mr. Nitin Seth along with their family visited the Neemrana Plant to pay floral tributes to Shri Govendhan Dass Seth. This continued with a Shradhanjali message by the Unit Head to all the employees.

A special community lunch was organized for all the employees at all units and corporate office in memory of the founder.  This year the company announced the 'Long Dedicated Service Award' (a Cheque of Rs. 1 lakh) to honour the loyalty & contributions of the employees who have been serving the company for a long time.

There was also a special cash award as a token of thanks to the employees who contributed their endeavor for successfully completing the construction work for extension of the plant and commencement of operations of the production hall at Neemrana plant.

On this day, Mr. Nitin Seth, Joint Managing Director, G.D. Foods Mfg. (India) Pvt. Ltd. said, “The death anniversary of Sh. Goverdhan Dass Seth marks the Founder’s Day for G.D. Foods and we look up to his views & thoughts as an inspiration & motivation for our success & future endeavours. It is under his guiding vision that we have come a long way. We all miss and remember him.”
