Genelia partners with UTV Bindass to host reality show

The latest trend has it that the biggies from the world of Bollywood ' Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan ' are taking to the small screen and many others are following the fashion. The latest to explore television is Genelia D'Souza of the Jane Tu Ya Jane Na fame.

Genelia has signed up with UTV Bindass to host an Endemol produced reality show called Big Switch. Genelia association as the face of the show will help attract viewers. The participants will have to complete various tasks assigned to them.

Rumours have it that UTV Bindass is contemplating roping in celebrity figures such as Adhyayan Suman, Adam Bedi, Bappa Lahiri, Pooja Mishra and Natasha Suri for the reality show however no official statement could be made on behalf of the channel confirming this.

Slated to go on air starting October 24, Big Switch will be populated by 10 participants who will share their living space with 10 slum dwellers. The interesting fact is that there will be no prize money involved in this reality show and the contestants will have to strive to complete their tasks effectively so that they can fulfil a wish of the slum contestant.
