Gopa Menon quits Dentsu, to take charge of Vinod Thadani’s role in Mindshare

Isobar’s COO, Gopa Menon, has put in his papers. Menon was with Dentsu’s digital agency for over 12 years. Industry sources informed Adgully that Menon will be joining Mindshare and will take charge of the position just vacated by Vinod Thadani. As reported earlier, Thadani has quit as the Chief Digital Officer of Mindshare - South Asia.

Meanwhile, industry sources informed Adgully that Thadani will take on a senior position in Dentsu X.

Menon had joined Isobar in 2009 and has handled a wide variety of roles, including Business Head, AVP, VP and EVP. He was elevated to Chief Operating Officer in 2019. He has been leading and overseeing the Isobar India operations , and additionally heading Strategy/ Media/ Content and Analytics Practice for Isobar India.

He had earlier worked with GroupM India as Business Group Head, as well as with RMG Connect, JWT and Inc Communication.
