Havas Media picks Naman Sharma to head research & analytics

Havas Media Asia Pacific has announced the appointment Naman Sharma as the Head of Research and Analytics for Asia Pacific.
 
Naman joins the agency with more than 12 years of experience in the communications industry, having worked in leadership roles with media agencies OMD and Carat. He was most recently with OMD West Africa, where he was heading Research and Strategy for West Africa.
 
Based out of Singapore, Naman will lead research and analytics discipline at Havas Media and manage the deployment of the group’s proprietary tools across APAC. Reporting in to SK Biswas, Chief Strategy Officer at Havas Media, Naman will also be responsible for the roll out of Econometric Modelling function.
 
Starting his career with AC Nielsen, India in 2001, Naman moved on to lead research function at Media Research Users Council. In 2004, he joined Prudential Insurance company and worked with PRU Lab & Marketing in a Market Insight role. During his tenure he worked on market forecasting projects using econometric modelling for insurance industry in UK.
 
Between 2005 to 2007 Naman worked with Aegis Media, in a dual role of Head of Research and Analytics at Carat Media and as well as the head of SPI (Econometric Modelling arm of Aegis).
 
In addition to his experience in the media industry, he has been nominated to several technical committees of media measurement studies in India and West Africa.
