Have women leaders been more successful in coping with the pandemic crisis?

The global COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted economies, businesses and lives and the impact will be there for a long time. People have been coping with this disruption in their own ways and navigating through these unprecedented times without any handbook or previous experience of a crisis of this dimension.

The pandemic times have been especially tough for women, as they have had to not just carry on with their jobs and managing teams while working from home, but also taking care of their homes and families. The roles of mother and manager have merged and have put a strain on the carefully constructed work-life balance.

There has also been another aspect of the stay at home phenomenon that has not been highlighted enough – that of domestic violence.

The challenges have been many and women have been facing and overcoming these challenges in their own unique ways and have been gradually adapting to life in the new normal.

Adgully has endeavoured to understand the changes that have been taking place in the lives of women leaders in Marcom and what the impact of the pandemic has been. For this, Adgully has partnered with YouGov to embark on a country wide research to understand the ‘Impact of pandemic on Women in Marcom’. Industry partner is Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI).

The findings of this special research will be unveiled on March 5, 2021 during the second edition of the Women Disruptor’s Summit.
