'Hero Honda Indian Open Golf' tees off today!
The event in its 47th year now will run through from December 2 to 5, 2010 and witness some of the top names from the international golfing circuit including the top-notch Indian stars vie for top honors.
The Pro-Am was played on two days viz. November 30 and December 1, 2010. Day 2 saw some of the biggest names in the corporate and sports world showcase their love and solidarity to the sport of Golf. Guest players included Shailendra Singh, Jt. Managing Director, Percept Limited; Ravi Chopra, eminent Bollywood Director & Producer; Madhushree Birla, Non-Executive Director, Xpro India; and Anthony Kang, eminent golfer.
Shailendra Singh flew down to Delhi all the way from Mumbai to join and support his friend Munjal in this initiative. Said Shailendra Singh, "It's a great honor to be present here today to support this fabulous sport and play alongside such luminary veterans."
The Hero Honda Indian Open 2010 will be telecast live on ESPN-Star Sports on all four days of the Tournament for the very first time in India.
