HISTORY TV18 to bring VIKINGS

This April get ready to watch the tales  of the raiding, trading, and exploring Norsemen of early medieval Scandinavia with HISTORY TV18 Every Monday to Wednesday at 9pm with VIKINGS.

The series follows the adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok: the greatest hero of his age and narrates the saga of Ragnar's band of Viking brothers and his family as he rises to become King of the Viking tribes.

The Vikings narrates the tale of a man on the edge of myth, a warrior & farmer who yearns to explore & raid the distant shores across the ocean, bucking the tradition of raiding to the east and turning the Viking world on its head. But for all its warfare and bloodshed, Vikings is also a story of family and brotherhood, capturing the love and affection between the characters.

The show debuted to rave reviews across the globe opening with a whopping 8.3 million viewers making it the top new cable series launch in US for 2013, and topping the 10pm time slot (18-49 demographic).
