Honda launches "CB Twister" ' an 110cc bike

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) - the fully-owned two-wheeler subsidiary of Japan's Honda Motor Company has launched its new bike ' "CB Twister", a 110 cc bike, on Thursday i.e. December 10.

The CB Twister is powered by an all-new 110cc single cylinder engine with a high-lift camshaft and off-set crankshaft to improve its efficiency. It is equipped with 9 BHP engine with mileage of 70 km per liter.

The bike will be available in three variants and in five colour schemes.

The new bike is aimed to offer style and looks in the entry-level segment at an affordable cost, with prices starting at Rs.42, 000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). However the actual price will be revealed at the 2010 Auto Expo in New Delhi.

CB Twister will be demonstrated at Auto Expo in January, and will hit the market by next year in February.

In all, CB Twister sounds a value for money and a good feature especially for the rural buyers.
