Housing.com Appoints J. Sagar Partner Nandini Mehta as General Counsel.

Housing.com, India’s most innovative and trusted real estate platform, today announced the appointment of Nandini Mehta as its General Counsel. A former partner with J. Sagar Asssociates, one of India's leading law firms, and with 12 years of experience, Nandini has advised many large conglomerates in the field of media, broadcasting, internet, technology and sports (MBITS) on the commercial and legal aspects. As part of the senior management team, Nandini will play an integral role in defining company’s legal framework.

Prior to joining Housing.com, Nandini was a partner with J Sagar Associates, one of India's leading law firms comprising over 350 attorneys across 7 offices and advised extensively in the media, entertainment and sports sector. Her clients were some of the largest motion picture studios, production houses, individual directors, lead actors, technicians and sporting organizations in the Country. Nandini was also a partner at Vidhi Partners and has also held various key positions with organizations such as UTV Motion Pictures, Reliance Entertainment and Percept Picture Company. 

Nandini has advised on legal and commercial aspects of over 500 films across Hindi, regional and International cinema. She has also advised various new-media, publishing and gaming companies based in India, Japan, China, UK and the US on key software integration and licensing issues. In the sports sector, she has represented various IPL, ISL and MMA teams and has advised on key aspects of league set ups and participation.
Nandini holds a B.S.L LL.B degree from I.L.S Law College in Pune. She is an avid writer and her articles are published in well-known magazines like Business World and Indian Management.
