How do women leaders contribute to fostering a more inclusive corporate culture?
According to Jyotsna Dash Nanda, “Women leaders bring a unique perspective and approach that fosters inclusivity, diversity, and innovation.” She further said, “Women-led businesses excel on profitability and sustainability, prioritising CSR and work life balance, key factors for attraction.”

For Madhurima Bhatia, it starts at hiring, by getting the right balance of men and women in the team at all levels. And then teams are trained, given tasks to ensure every member gets counted. She also considered pay parity to be another important area.

Mou Chakravorty emphasised on three key big moves that are needed:

  • Inspiring inclusion by fostering a culture of courage and sisterhood so women support each other
  • Truly believe in the art of networking, mentoring and sponsoring as a collective force to voice opinion
  • Amplify efforts together.

Sharing her views, Bhavya Sharma said, “Lead by example - like Gandhiji said, ‘Be the change you want to see’.

  1. Exhibit positive and inclusive behaviours
  2. Create official & unofficial mentorship channels
  3. Highlight success stories of other female colleagues.

“The more we talk about achievements the better,” Sharma added.

Amandeep Arora believed that women leaders contribute diverse perspectives, unique experiences, and varied leadership styles, fostering an inclusive corporate culture.

Tanmana Rath added here, “Women leaders bring a unique perspective and approach. They challenge the status quo, disrupt traditional hierarchies, and create a more collaborative and empathetic work environment.”

Ena Chakravorty said, “Having women at the leadership level sets the right example for an inclusive culture that speaks heaps about equality. Focus on hiring female staff to ensure gender balance, fair evaluation, mentoring and training programs are instrumental in creating an inclusive culture.”
