HT Media to acquire Mosaic Media, parent Co of VCCircle & TechCircle

The Board of Director of HT Media has approved the 100 per cent acquisition of Mosaic Media Ventures, the parent company of VCCircle and TechCircle.

The strategic acquisition of an emerging company will help drive HT Media’s synergies across businesses. In the News business space HT Media plans to scale VCCircle and TechCircle to augment Mint’s tech and deals content editorial capabilities. In the Event business, HT Media will use its reach to augment VC Circle’s events business.

The acquisition of Mosaic Media will also help scale up HT Media’s database and research business, besides unlocking cost and revenue synergies.

Mosaic was incorporated in the year 2007 and is engaged in the business of operating news platforms, viz. VCCircle and TechCircle; providing subscription-based research databases, viz. VCCEdge and SalesEdge; and Events business. The company reported a turnover of Rs 14.5 crore in FY20.
