"I am quiting Life OK's Do Dil Ek Jaan" says Kamya Punjabi

Every year prior to the launch of Bigg Boss season a long debate ensues and different assumptions and predictions are made as to who would be the confirmed contestants for the new season of their show.

Of late there is a buzz doing the rounds that popular actress of television industry Kamya Punjabi, who is known for her roles in shows like Reth, Astitva...Ek Prem Kahani, Mein Teri Dulhann, Maryada, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki is all set to make an exit from her show Do Dil Ek Jaan presently aired on Life OK.

In an exclusive interaction with Adgully, she shared to say, “Yes, I am exiting from the show due to personal reasons. I share a good rapport and bond with my casts and producers of the show and will miss the entire crew of Do Dil Ek Jaan.”

Rumours were rife that Kamya would be part of Bigg Boss Season 7. When asked for a confirmation she reverted to deny this news and further said, “Channel Colors and the production house Endemol has been approaching me since Bigg Boss Season 3, but I had refused then and still have no plans of entering the latest season of the show. I cannot confirm about my further decisions.”

Kamya portrayed the character of Daya Mai in Life OK’s Do Dil Ek Jaan and sources inform that Shilpa Shinde who was last seen in SAB TV’s Chidiyaghar as Koyal would be stepping into Kamya’s on screen character.
