India Payments Policy overrule WhatsApp privacy updates

According to media reports, Facebook will not have information on user details during digital transactions through WhatsApp Pay. India payments policy will overrule any privacy policy changes made by the messaging app. 

The recent privacy policy update by WhatsApp and steered fear amongst the Indian users as the messaging app has blatantly said that they will be sharing information with Facebook and all Facebook products. 

According to media reports, the Indian Payments Privacy policies were rolled out before WhatsApp Pay was given the nod to function in the Indian market.
