JetSynthesys acquires majority stake in KidzByte Media Tech

New-age digital entertainment and technology company, JetSynthesys, has announced its recent majority stake acquisition in KidzByte, a pioneering educational news and knowledge media platform for kids. Founded by media professionals, Chetan D’Souza and Swagat Salunke, KidzByte also trains and aims to transform tweens from content consumers to creators via audio visual medium. With increasing screentime amongst children, this strategic partnership aims to transform the way children access and engage with content, empowering them to become informed, creative, and driven individuals.

Commenting on this acquisition, Rajan Navani, Founder and CEO, JetSynthesys, said, “I am thrilled about our acquisition of KidzByte as it positively impacts the consumption of news and infotainment among kids and tweens. JetSynthesys believes in their vision to meaningfully and mindfully influence the screentime that kids have today. With KidzByte, we aim to harness the power of technology to nurture young minds and aid their overall growth and development. By leveraging our collective expertise, we are poised to enhance the way children consume, engage with, and contribute to educational content.”

Additionally, Chetan D’Souza, Founder and CEO, KidzByte, said, “We are delighted to join the JetSynthesys family and set out on this incredible journey. This partnership opens up a world of possibilities for KidzByte and allows us to reach even more children and schools with our innovative educational platform. JetSynthesys shares our vision of enabling kids to be ‘kidfluencers’, and with their expertise and resources, we can multiply our effect and revolutionise the way children engage with educational media. Together, we have the potential to shape the future of learning and inspire young minds across India and beyond.”

KidzByte offers an innovative and kid-friendly approach to covering current affairs and world events, keeping children connected with the outside world while ensuring their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The platform also features children as junior journalists and junior TV anchors and provides them with abundant opportunities to interview business leaders, sports personalities and celebrities. The aim is to encourage children to develop their own voice and fosters their passion for learning.
