Joy Chauhan to move on from Wunderman Thompson

Joy Chauhan, the former Chief Client Officer of WT South Asia and Managing Partner of WT Delhi, has decided to move on from Wunderman Thompson (formerly known as J. Walter Thompson) after dedicating over a decade of service to the company. As of now, Chauhan is in his notice period. In March 2023, he took on the additional role of Chief Client Officer.

Chauhan has an impressive 21-year career in the media and advertising industry. He has held leadership positions such as heading the Bengaluru office and serving as the President in the Sri Lanka Colombo Office. During his career, he has managed diverse teams across various business divisions and held multiple leadership roles. He has played a pivotal role in building the success of various brands, including Airtel, PepsiCo, Nestle, and Hero.

Chauhan's interests extend beyond the professional realm. He is an avid sports enthusiast and fitness follower, and he continues to explore the field of behavioral psychology. Outside of work, he is passionate about poetry and performing arts, having been involved in theatre during his younger days.

Currently, Chauhan is responsible for leading the Delhi office of Wunderman Thompson, which is considered the region's largest office. In this role, he oversees the agency's business growth, its people, and the brands they work with.
