Kapil Kapoor joins Timex Group as COO

US watch company Timex has appointed Indian telent Kapil Kapoor as the global COO from his current role as senior vice-president, Asia Pacific.

Kapoor has reached to the top position of the company as it doesn't have a CEO at present, Hans-Kristian Hoegsgaard, global CEO and president of the group had resigned in October 2009.

Prior to this, Kapoor was the MD of Timex Watches since October 2000. He has developed a strategy for Asia, and also set up of a Chinese subsidiary.

Kapoor has a experience of 23 years and has worked with Nestle and Bausch & Lomb before joining Timex.
