Kapil Sharma Show finds a new home on Netflix

The new avatar of famous Kapil Sharma Show is all set to be released but this time it will have a different address with the same family household. After Colors and Sony TV, Kapil Sharma has found a new home for his show and that too on OTT platform. The Indian comedian and host has collaborated with Netflix for his comedy extravaganza.

The new promo is out and there we could see all household members of the Kapil Sharma Show, like Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda and of course the vivacious Archana Puran Singh. Kapil has also made the announcement on social media through a video skit that featured Archana, Krushna, Kiku and Rajiv.
The Kapil Sharma Show started in 2016 and had gained huge popularity in a short time. The biggest names from the industry - Shah Rukh Khan to Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan to Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor have all come to publicise their films in this show.
Promoting the same on his social media handle, Kiku Sharda, known more for his roles like Baccha Yadav, wrote, “Ek baar hum log naye ghar me shift ho jayen, phir wapas se chit-chat, hasi-thitholi vala mahaul banaaenge, aap log ready rahiye ga, hum bhi almost ready hain.” In the promo, Kapil can be seen saying, “Ghar badla hain family nahi.” It would be exciting to see how different this OTT version of TKS will be from the television one.
This is not the first time Kapil’s work will be showcased on Netflix. His standup comedy show ‘I’m Not Done Yet’ had released on Netflix last year and gathered great reviews
The fans and loyal viewers of the show are a bit confused right now and there are mixed feedback on the show going to an OTT platform. They have shared feedback like if the content will be 18 years plus now. And then one fan has written shifting to an OTT platform is a wrong decision as Kapil can lose his audiences. Let us wait for the show to come on Netflix and then we can write about the verdict.
