Kodak introduces PlaySport video camera

Priced at Rs. 7,999, the Kodak PlaySport Video Camera is waterproof up to 10 feet and includes features like electronic image stabilization and Kodak Imaging Science for sharper videos with vibrant colors and less blur. The camera can also capture 5 megapixel still pictures.

"Kodak PlaySport is specifically designed for consumers with active lifestyles, allowing them to capture full 1080p HD video, even underwater simply with the touch of a button," said Saraswatula Srinivasu, Vice President - Sales and Channel Management and SPG head Digital Camera & Device and Film capture, Kodak India Private Limited.

Kodak PlaySport has an expandable SD/SDHC card slot for memory cards upto 32GB, that can record up to 10 hours of HD video. It comes with an in-box HDMI cable for easy viewing on HD screens. It also has a in-built software that enables users to edit and easily share videos with family and friends through sites such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
