Leadership changes at BCCL; Sivakumar Sundaram is CEO (Publishing) & ED

In an internal memo, Bennett, Coleman & Co. announced significant leadership changes. The BCCL's executive committee chairman, Sivakumar Sundaram, is now the organisation's chief executive officer (publishing) and executive director. On June 15, 2023, he took on the new position. Over the course of his more than 32 years with BCCL, he has held a number of leadership positions and excelled in a variety of jobs spanning numerous industries and activities.

At Entertainment Network India (ENIL), Subramanian Narayanan, executive director and group chief financial officer, is now CEO (media & investments). In addition, he will begin serving as executive director of BCCL on July 1, 2023, following receipt of the required regulatory permissions. His experience spans the media, financial services, and FMCG industries for more than 33 years. He started working at The Times Group in December 2006 and has since handled a variety of jobs in various departments and businesses.

Mohit Jain, executive director of supply chain and RMD, has been promoted to chief operating officer and executive director of publishing. He will continue to manage the publishing business's supply chain, RMD, and external and government relations while reporting to Sundaram.
