LinkedIn brings Video to it's self-serve Ad platform!

LinkedIn has announced the global roll out of video ads on their self-serve platform, LinkedIn Ads. This new addition to the gamut of advertising solutions by LinkedIn, allows members to promote their product or service to the platform’s member base of 175 million professionals. With this addition, advertisers can now leverage their existing YouTube presence on LinkedIn for promoting videos of choice.

The LinkedIn Ads platform is a self-service advertising solution that allows members to customize their target audience by various parameters like job title, job function, industry, geography, gender, age, company name & size, or LinkedIn Group and thereby select the most prominent page to place their ads on. Members can also control their advertising costs by playing only for the number of clicks or impressions that their ad receives.
