Manish Maheshwari quits Twitter to join ed-tech startup

Manish Maheshwari, former Head of Twitter India, has quit the company to focus on an ed-tech initiative.
Maheshwari, who was relocated to the United States in August this year, tweeted about the news.
"After almost three years, I am quitting Twitter to focus on #education and #teaching." While I leave Twitter with a heavy heart, I am enthused about the worldwide influence that education may have," he said.
Maheshwari stated that he is collaborating with Tanay Pratap, a Microsoft senior software engineer.
