Marks & Spencer's Co-CEO Katie Bickerstaffe to Step Down
Katie Bickerstaffe, co-chief executive of British retailer Marks & Spencer's (MKS.L) is set to leave later this year to pursue a portfolio career on other company boards, as per reports.
Bickerstaffe, who has been in the position since 2022, played a crucial role in the company's recent revival, reporting to CEO Stuart Machin. She is expected to step down following M&S's annual shareholder meeting in July.
Bickerstaffe had contributed to the leadership change in 2022, strengthened the management team, and notably improved the business's performance.
In January, M&S announced that Rachel Higham would be joining from advertising group WPP to take over these functions.
