Mary Walsh joins Williams Nicolson as strategic advisor

Mary Walsh has been appointed as a strategic advisor by Williams Nicolson, change management and strategic communications consultancy.
Walsh previously held the position of communications director on the executive committee of the cross-Channel rail service, Eurostar, for 11 years. During that time, she oversaw both internal and external communications, supported the company's recapitalization during the pandemic, and oversaw its environmental and community programme.
At Lloyds Banking Group, where she worked as director of corporate relations prior to that, she oversaw communications for a number of mergers and acquisitions, regulatory reviews, and a campaign with the UK government on flexible working arrangements.
Walsh will collaborate with Nick Bowers, chairman of Williams Nicolson, and special advisors Phil McManus, Paul Kelly, and Paul Newman in her new position. Bowers previously held executive positions at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, and Deutsche Bank
Mary's in-depth knowledge of managing communications in intricate, regulated organisations is priceless, according to Williams Nicolson partner Louise Nicolson, who co-founded the firm with Steffan Williams last year. She will be a tremendous complement to our team as an early adopter of ESG and a passionate proponent of fairness and equality.
Walsh continued, "I am happy to join Williams Nicolson at this critical juncture in their development and look forward to working with the team to maximise growth potential and advance the company.
