Mitali Chowhan appointed as Deputy Director General, MRSI

Mitali brings several years of well-entrenched leadership experience from both buyer as well the user side in the Consumer Research & Insights domain. She also brings international exposure, strategic expertise and proven executional skills from cross-company and cross-functional teams”, said Sandeep Arora, President, MRSI.

 Sandeep Saxena, Director General of the MRSI adds, “It’s been a privilege having Mitali in the core team, supporting the set-up of the Professional Standards Committee, and other key projects. I look forward to her continued association with the MRSI in her new role of Dy. Director General.”

 Mitali’s past roles include Global Head of Customer Experience at Liberty Global B.V. in Amsterdam. She was Consumer Insights Director for Tele2 AB in Stockholm and Head of Brand and Consumer Insight at Vodafone Group in London.

 Closer home, Mitali headed Business Intelligence at Vodafone India. She was Mumbai branch head at TNS NFO, and also Director Strategic Planning at Rediffusion DY&R.

 She was recruited by IMRB at campus from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, and was an alumnus of the first-ever Lyceum class of '88. She worked subsequently at Mode, with a brief consultancy assignment at MARG as well.

 Mitali expressed, “I’m truly delighted to reconnect with the Marketing community in India. The MRSI is a great organization to be part of, very dynamic and in touch with current issues and needs of the MR industry.”
